My
grandfather had a tradition of galloping our horses up "Little Titty",
as we called the hill in this painting, dismounting, and placing a rock
on a cone shaped pile at the top. What a life we had! The general
atmosphere was amazing, both my grandparents' careers were at their
peak. Life at
Sentinel ranch at its greatest, sparkling with creativity, enthusiasm,
and gratitude for our surrounding landscape. This is a vivid memory for
me, and one of my favorite spots. Everything becomes more important
when you realize it only takes one generation to throw it all away...
